Cambridge Technology Inc., Lexington, Mass., has released the 6250H moving magnet galvanometers. This is the latest addition to the CTI 62xxH Product line of moving magnet galvanometers, and is optimized to provide maximum performance for 30mm–50mm apertures.

Based on Cambridge Technology’s highly successful 62xxH actuator and position detector innovations, the 6250H brings a price/performance breakthrough to large aperture applications.

"Applications such as remote welding, cutting, converting, PV processing require large apertures to achieve the desired small spot sizes while simultaneously demanding cost-effective scanning solutions," remarked Redmond P. Aylward, president of Cambridge Technology Inc. "The 6250H design is fully optimized to address the price/performance requirements of these applications. And, when coupled with Cambridge Technology’s high performance large aperture mirrors, the 6250H also provides breakthrough large aperture processing speeds.”

Priced substantially less than the CTI flagship 6260H very large aperture scanner, the 6250H is available now in sample quantities, with production quantities in 2Q12.
