To accommodate the addition of the new robotics system, the company announced the expansion of their 80,000-sq. ft. manufacturing facility by adding a 14,000-sq. ft. state-of-art welding center.

Upon analysis of the Lincoln Electric FANUC Robotics system, the Millerbernd engineering team determined that the robotic systems would offer greater weld consistency, higher production speeds, and more flexibility than their traditional dedicated equipment.

Farid Currimbhoy, senior VP of Millerbernd Laser, stated, "We were very impressed with the increased quality, and throughput levels, and Lincoln Electric's ability to design a solution to fit our specific needs with the highest degree of efficiently and effectiveness."
