Amada Miyachi Europe acquires MacGregor Welding Systems

Amada Miyachi Europe has acquired MacGregor Welding Systems, which designs and manufactures precision micro-joining equipment.

Laser and resistance welding, marking, and cutting equipment and systems maker Amada Miyachi Europe (Munich, Germany) has acquired MacGregor Welding Systems (Mildenhall, Suffolk, England), which designs and manufactures precision micro-joining equipment. MacGregor Welding Systems' products include DC micro resistance welding equipment, as well as micro pulsed-arc, percussive-arc, and other welding technologies. With this acquisition, Amada Miyachi Europe is able to expand its range of products and services to meet the joining needs of its global customer base.
