TRUMPF Inc. makes personnel changes in its laser division
Farmington, Conn. – TRUMPF Inc. has made several changes within the company’s laser division, including David Havrilla, who has been promoted to manager of products and applications.
Farmington, Conn. – TRUMPF Inc. has made several changes within the company’s laser division.
David Havrilla has been promoted to manager of products and applications. Havrilla has been involved with industrial lasers for more than 23 years and holds a master’s degree in mechanical engineering. He has also done post-graduate study at the Imperial College in England, where he investigated the viability of laser cladding die components. Previously, he held the position of manager, high power lasers. Havrilla will continue to be based out of TRUMPF Inc.’s Plymouth, MI location.
Havrilla replaces Juergen Stollhof, who has relocated to TRUMPF’s Farmington headquarters, where he is program manager of a new sales initiative, which concentrates on microprocessing in the photovoltaic, semiconductor and medical industries. He will be working with Paul Graham, Ph.D., who was also named product manager.
Other personnel changes within TRUMPF’s laser division include Chris Pilcher, who was named regional sales manager for TRUMPF Canada. He brings to the position more than 25 years of experience in the welding and systems integration field. He holds degrees in mechanical engineering, mathematics, and business, and his experience spans many industries, including aerospace, medical, nuclear, and automotive.
In addition, Michael Nuessler, most recently a service engineer with TRUMPF Mexico, now has the title of sales engineer for laser products. He is based in Queretaro, Mexico. Also, Bill Weston, a 10-year TRUMPF employee who has more than 20 years of experience in the laser industry, was named southwest regional sales manager.
