July 9, 2018
Since the laser system company's foundation, business development has exceeded expectations and the company intends to continue growing.

Custom laser systems developer and maker Evosys Laser (Erlangen, Germany) was honored as one of the most successful business startups in the region at the award ceremony of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce. The prize, created by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce Nuremberg for Middle Franconia in 1996 and endowed with 10,000 euros, was awarded on July 4, 2018 at the IHK Akademie Mittelfranken. Peter Kurz, chairman of Leonhard Kurz Stiftung & Co. KG, gave the laudation for managing directors Frank Brunnecker and Holger Aldebert. The jury praised the pair's commitment to their innovative solutions and individual approaches.

The company started at the end of 2015 with two employees—now, the workforce totals over 40 employees, with half of them in development and design. Since its foundation, business development has exceeded expectations and the company intends to continue growing.

The concept of using standardized lasers in customer-specific systems is working: "We have been active in the industry for many years and have seen that there is a need for individual solutions," say Brunnecker and Aldebert in describing their motivation for founding the company.

The Evosys Group currently consists of three companies: the parent company Evosys Laser, the subsidiary LPW Services, and the subsidiary Evosys (Suzhou) Laser System, a joint venture in China.
