Laser marking workstation
FOBA is prepping a new workstation for laser marking to be launched at the end of this summer.
FOBA, Selmsdorf/Lüdenscheid, Germany, is prepping a new workstation for laser marking, to be launched at the end of this summer at the International Manufacturing Technology Show (IMTS) in Chicago (Sept. 10-15).
The M-Series laser marking workstation targets processing multiple part sizes. It will be available in two sizes, each with three models, incorporating a work table, rotary table, and expandable to five axes. They will all be height-adjustable, and the control panel is mountable on the right or left side of the workstation.
The system is designed to be combined with FOPA's "intelligent mark positioning" technology, to enable precise and repeatable markings and guarantee process reliability. FOBA IMP detects work pieces and their position automatically and aligns the marking accordingly, and identifies and adjusts as needed any changes regarding the component geometry and position or defective parts.
