Laser Research Optics has introduced a line of replacement CO2 laser optics for plaque and trophy engravers. The optics are optimized for 10.6 µm and meet or exceed OEM and ISO-10110 specifications for optical elements.

Providence, RI - Laser Research Optics has introduced a line of replacement CO2 laser optics for plaque and trophy engravers. The optics are optimized for 10.6 µm and meet or exceed OEM and ISO-10110 specifications for optical elements. Supplied standalone or mounted, the optics feature focal lengths from 1 to 25 in., in 0.5 in. increments, and the mirrors are made from silicon and copper in 0.5 to 3 in. dia. sizes 2–10 mm thick. Total absorption values are less than 0.2 percent, surface quality is 40–20 scratch-dig, and sphericity is less than 1/40th wave.
