Laser Research Optics, Providence, R.I., has released a full line of replacement CO2 laser optics for trophy and plaque engravers that can be supplied stand-alone or in aluminum mounts.

These CO2 engraving optics are optimized for 10.6 µm, where depth of field is critical and lenses are offered in 1/2" to 1-1/2" dia. sizes with focal lengths from 1" to 25", in 1/2" increments. Mirrors and reflectors made from silicon, molybdenum, and copper from 2 mm to 10 mm thick come in 1/2" to 3" dia. sizes. All optics meet OEM and ISO-10110 specifications.

Providing < 0.2% total absorption values, Laser Research CO2 engraving optics have 40-20 scratch-dig surface quality and < 1/40th wave sphericity. They are suitable for Universal®, Epilog®, GCC Laser Pro Engravers®, Vytek®, Trotec®, Kern®, Ferba®, Camtech®, Emission Technologies®, Pinnacle®, LST Lasers®, Synrad®, Gravograph®, and Jamieson Lasers®.
