ID Technology, Forth Worth, Texas, announces that the iCON and iCONnet Lasers by Macsa are now available in 30 W models. With the new iCON Series 30 W models, ID Technology enlarges its range of lasers to cover all applications. The iCON and iCONnet 30 W models will mark on harder surfaces at a higher speed.

The laser comes complete with integrated touchscreen interface, photocell, nose cone protection and mounting bracket and has Ethernet capability (iCONnet). With the use of MarcaLite software, the iCONnet can print logos and graphics as well as alphanumerics.

The iCON Series of lasers have been specifically designed for small character coding applications in packaged goods and industrial products where they offer users an affordable laser alternative to inkjet and all of the advantages of a laser. They are reliable and easy to use and because they use no consumables there is a very low cost of ownership. Lasers are clean; leaves no mess and there are no solvent emissions.

These laser coders are small and compact so that they are easy to install in even the most confined production locations. Each has an integrated touch screen interface with the option of a remote controller.

The iCON Series of laser coders take full advantage of Macsa’s 25 years plus experience in laser technology and its partnerships with component manufacturers. They use proven, high performance optics, powerful hardware and advanced, low overhead software to enable the iCON lasers to meet the speeds of most production lines.

ID Technology, a division of Pro Mach, is a manufacturer and integrator of labeling, coding and marking systems, as well as peripheral equipment, supplies and service.
