Diode-pumped tunable alexandrite laser sources emitting in the near-infrared are used for LiDAR remote sensing, quantum technologies, photoacoustic microscopy, and biosensing.

Diode-pumped tunable alexandrite laser sources emitting in the near-infrared are used for LiDAR remote sensing, quantum technologies, photoacoustic microscopy, and biosensing. They can be set to provide near-SLM output at a fixed wavelength or narrowband tunable from 730 to 790 nm. These sources can deliver multiwatt-level continuous-wave or millijoule pulse output in compact footprints.
