AP Lazer, Lansing, MI, has introduced the SN series of laser engraving machines that offer the user the ability to liberate the versatile CO2 laser from its base unit for maximum automation and integration flexibility.

For the past 20 years, CO2 flat led laser engravers have made a name for themselves in the world of promotional items and awards because of their low cost and simple operation. Boasting unit sales of hundreds of units per month and a solid track record for operational uptime, they have only been limited by their boxy configuration in the industrial marketplace. However, AP Lazer's new series liberates the laser.

Industrial applications that have typically been reserved for the expensive gantry type lasers or galvo based machines can now be addressed by the AP lazer SN Series. Supporting three different configurations, the SN2816 offers a 28" x 16" work area with a 80W CO2, the SN4024 offers a 40" x 24" work area with a 100W CO2, and the SN4836 offers a 48" x 36" work area and a 100W CO2 laser.
