The QFOCUS QF-46 piezo nanopositioning stage enables microscope objective and optics positioning at high speeds.
The QFOCUS QF-46 piezo nanopositioning stage from Aerotech (Pittsburgh, PA) enables microscope objective and optics positioning at high speeds. It is available in closed-loop travels of 100 and 250 μm, and open-loop travels of 120 and 300 μm. Precision flexures that are optimized using finite element analysis ensure high stiffness and long device life. When coupled with the company's Q-series controllers and drives, the stage demonstrates sub-nanometer positioning resolution (0.30nm closed-loop and 0.15nm open-loop), in-position stability (jitter), and high-positioning bandwidth.
