Industrial laser technology specialist Rofin-Sinar UK (Kingston upon Hull, England) has rebranded as Luxinar, marking a new chapter in the company’s 20-year history.
The move, which took effect June 25, 2019, allows the company to further strengthen its portfolio of sealed CO2 lasers and its new femtosecond laser, as well as maintain the company's growth, which has gone from strength to strength in recent years.
Continuing to operate from its manufacturing facility in Kingston upon Hull, Luxinar employs more than 180 people – both in the UK and overseas, with operations in China, South Korea, Germany, Italy, and the U.S.
Managing director Klaus Leitner made the announcement at the LASER World of PHOTONICS 2019 exhibition held June 24-27, where a host of new products were also unveiled, reflecting the company's commitment to ongoing innovation.
