ULT celebrates 25 years in air treatment technology

Air treatment technologies developer ULT Umwelt-Lufttechnik (ULT; Löbau, Germany), which was founded in 1994 by Christian Jakschik, is celebrating its 25th year in business. Since its founding, the company has grown to more than 130 employees.
The company's first fume extraction systems were "designed in our flat and assembled in the garage," Jakschik says. Now, the company provides turnkey and customized fume extraction solutions, systems for process air drying and conditioning, and accessories such as extraction arms and individual capturing solutions. Growth has continued at its current headquarters in Löbau, whereadditional production and office areas began operation in 2018 in what was the company's sixth expansion step.
The company'sair treatment systems are utilized in various industries, including machinery, electronics, food and beverage, pharmacy and medical technology, and also in laboratories and handicraft, covering a wide range of applications. Its product offerings contribute to occupational health and service as well as clean or dry production environments.
Also in 2018, the companyopened a U.S. subsidiary, ULT LLC, in Wisconsin.
