Sliver of light VII: Fiber laser cutting machine orders

Laser Photonics is finding success with a larger number of orders than projected from overseas for its Titan Series Fiber Laser Cutting Machine.

Finding active markets for laser metal cutting machines has been difficult the past few months so it is especially gratifying to hear that Laser Photonics (Lake Mary, FL) is finding success with a larger number of orders than projected from overseas for its Titan Series Fiber Laser Cutting Machine.

Industrial Product Marketing Manger Ryan Semmer says, "It's an exciting time for Laser Photonics. Manufacturers overseas have discovered the advantages, capabilities, and the cost saving factors of our Titan Series. Our customers are as varied as the materials and applications that these laser systems can process. One customer in the Middle East is a sign manufacturer while another is in the food processing equipment business in Russia, but all of our customers have one thing in common - they have realized that the future of laser cutting and materials processing is with fiber laser systems."

Todd Hockenberry, executive vice president sales & marketing for Laser Photonics, says, "Metal processing companies around the world are recognizing that tough economic times will pass but new technology that improves quality, throughput, and lowers the cost per hour to cut metals will always be in demand. The low maintenance and service requirements of the high power fiber laser are very important to our international customers who are looking for ways to break free from the logistic demands and costs associated with servicing existing laser cutting technologies. Laser Photonics is very excited about the level of interest we see for the Titan in international markets and will continue to grow our infrastructure and global presence to meet that demand."
