Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire, UK– ES Technology Ltd, special purpose laser system builder and laser marking job-shop, has reported financial results for the year to September 30th 2011 that show a turnover growth of 27% over financial year 2010, which itself was up 17% on 2009.
Turnover for the company has reached nearly £3M (~ $4.7 M) and profit was up 130% on the previous year. “These results are testament to the hard work of all our staff at Oxford and demonstrate that our strategy of focusing only on industrial laser applications, such as marking, welding, cutting and heat treatment, is paying off” commented ES’s Operations Director, Tim Millard.
The two main drivers of growth have been sales of industrial laser machines into Medical Device and Automotive markets and the provision of subcontract laser marking services to a wide range of customers who need permanent etching or engraving onto components they machine from metal or mold from plastic.
Looking forward, despite challenging economic conditions, ES is investing to grow further in the coming year and announces that Unit H3 at Kingston Business Park has been leased to provide 50% more machine-building space in addition to units H1 and H2. In addition, the company is recruiting a sales engineer for their laser marking job-shop.
