Mazak Optronics, a supplier of laser cutting systems, has named A.W. Miller as its distribution partner in several US East Coast markets (New York, Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia) and Eastern Canada. The New York-based firm will sell Mazak's 2D and 3D laser metal cutting machines and products, and engage customers on emerging technology and solution ideas for boosting productivity and profitability, through laser cutting, within various industry segments.
Mazak, a division of Japanese precision metal-machining tool supplier Yamazaki Mazak Corp., offers 50 models of laser-cutting systems. It has a 50,000 square foot headquarters in Elgin, Illinois, with a 30,000 square foot laser technology center housing up to 18 machines for demonstrations and training.
