Swiss company expands capabilities with new 7 axiz laser processing system.

Champlin, Minnesota - Prima Power Laserdyne, the world leader in precision multi-axis laser machining systems,announces that Jean Gallay SA, Geneva, Switzerland, has ordered a Laserdyne 795XL BeamDirector® system equipped with a fiber laser.

Widely known throughout Europe for its precision work in the aerospace and power generation industries, Jean Gallay products are used in industrial gas turbines, aircraft engines, helicopter turbines, and nuclear reactors. The company will use the Laserdyne unit equipped with a 2kW fiber laser for 2D and 3D processing of heat resistant alloys (nickel and cobalt), stainless steel alloys, titanium and titanium alloys.
