Authentise provides software solutions that enable the use of additive manufacturing in production environments, including its 3Diax Modular Platform and Authentise Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The MES uses additive manufacturing machine data to solve automation challenges, and makes complete automation of order processing and tracking possible. The modularly designed platform also provides the flexibility to adapt such automation simply to existing workflows and integrate it into already-existing IT systems. Thanks to this collaboration, SLM Solutions enables its customers to exploit production data in real time for the automation of process flows.

Rosswag and Cronimet are specialists in dealing with metallic materials, superalloys, and ferro-alloys. The objective of the collaboration is the development, production, and distribution of special and high-performance alloys for use in additive manufacturing. The focus is especially on steel alloys to be used for applications and workpieces in high temperature environments. SLM Solutions will handle sales of the developed special and high-performance alloys.

"We're very pleased to announce this partnership with Rosswag and Cronimet," says Uwe Bögershausen, Management Board member of SLM Solutions Group. "Both companies are proven specialists in their respective areas. This partnership supports us on our continued path to becoming an integrated solution provider in the field of additive manufacturing." SLM Solutions contributes the requisite know-how from additive manufacturing and will assume responsibility for the exclusive distribution of the metal powders that are developed.

Thanks to this collaboration, SLM Solutions' customers will have access to other and more comprehensive solutions in the field of process automation and materials in the near future.
