The SAAM and SAAM-HT small-area additive manufacturing machines allow for prototypes to be created before entering full-scale production on larger machines.

The SAAM and SAAM-HT small-area additive manufacturing machines from Cincinnati Inc. (CI; Harrison, OH) allow for prototypes to be created before entering full-scale production on larger machines. The machines are small enough to fit on desktops and similar surfaces, enabling additive manufacturing capabilities in limited spaces. Both machines feature the company's Automated Ejection System to provide continuous, unattended 3D printing. The SAAM machine is optimized for carbon-fiber composite 3D printing, with a 6061 aluminum and steel frame and a heated bed temperature of 90°C. The SAAM HT machine offers more power and a wider range of options, and can 3D-print in ULTEM 9085 PEI, PEEK, CarbonX, carbon fiber-nylon, Makeshaper PLA Spool, or any thermoplastic up to 500°C.
