  1. Plate cutting 500 tons per month

Arcade, NY— Cutting capacity and accuracy at low operating cost is a requirement of a typical steel service center. Koike Aronson Inc. thinks it has the answer in its new 4kW Lasertex cutting system. The 4kW gantry-style system cuts thick material with unlimited cutting length. Click here to enlarge image null The company, a member of the Koike Sanso Kogyo group, specializes in plate cutting with larger gantry style machines, of which Lasertex is the latest. Introduced at IMTS in September, this system features high-speed piercing, which reduces hole cutting cycle time, common line cutting of adjacent nested parts and an Active Flow Technology nozzle system that increase the life of the nozzle and lens. Lasertex is available in cutting widths to 197 inches so that two 8-foot plates can be accommodated side-by-side. Rail extensions allow any length of part. A co-axial cutting head enables cutting. Contact Koike Aronson at Tel. (800) 252-5232 or www.koike.com.
