A new initiative by economic development organization Team NEO (Cleveland, OH) plans to revitalize Northeast Ohio as a manufacturing hub, thanks to a seven-year plan with a roadmap to build additive manufacturing awareness.

Key to this revitalization is additive manufacturing accelerator America Makes (Youngstown, OH), which is located in Northeast Ohio -- and could be instrumental in better educating traditional manufacturers on how additive manufacturing technology can apply to their businesses, according to Tim Fahey, vice president for industry and innovation at Team NEO.
