EuroBLECH "complete success" for Bystronic

November 11--Bystronic shows unreserved satisfaction with the results of this year's EuroBLECH in October. "Noticeable and extremely positive was that on the customers' side, strong optimism in respect of the future business development prevailed, coupled with a corresponding readiness to invest," comments Christoph Schupbach, head of market region Europe North/East.

The company reports that the feedback on ByVention was excellent from both existing and future customers. "Approximately two hours after EuroBLECH opened its doors we were able to sell the first ByVention--without preliminary negotiations. This confirms that we are on the right track with the machine concept and the business model," says Schupbach.

Martin Mauser, managing director of Walter Mauser GmbH, Breitenau/Austria, and the first ByVention customer worldwide, said, "On my fully automatic Bystronic laser cutting systems I was up to now forced to interrupt the work far too often to accommodate short-run jobs. This reduced the productivity of the systems and disrupted the production processes. In future small and very small series, the production of prototypes and the processing of partly used sheets will be done on the ByVention. This is for me the perfect solution for which I have been waiting."
